The Finger Lakes Independence Center offers a wide-range of services to anyone who needs a helping hand while striving to live independently.
Who is eligible for FLIC services? Anyone with temporary, acquired and long-term disabilities, their friends and families. There are no eligibility requirements.
Is there a charge? All FLIC services are free to people with disabilities, their friends and their families.

FLIC helped me borrow or try out so much equipment when my senior father came to live with me. Frankly, I am not sure what I would have done without their support. Fantastic community resource!
This is one of the greatest things I have seen in any community! We traveled to Ithaca with our mother, and she normally walks with a cane when out and about. FLIC loaned us all the equipment we needed for her visit, empowering our mom to explore the waterfalls, hiking trials, and Ithaca College graduation with us!
The people there are very nice, knowledgeable, and helpful.
